Chirag Paswan Blames Bihar Government for Deteriorating Law and Order

Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan criticized the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar-led Bihar government for the deteriorating law and order situation in the state.

Daylight Murder at Paras Hospital

Referring to the recent daylight murder inside Paras Hospital in Patna, where five goons entered and shot dead another criminal undergoing treatment at the private medical facility, Mr. Paswan highlighted the audacity of criminals and the government’s inefficiency.

Responsibility for Law and Order

Mr. Paswan emphasized that maintaining law and order is the state’s responsibility under India’s federal structure.

Addressing Government’s Role

Mr. Paswan defended the Prime Minister’s development schemes while pointing out that law and order maintenance falls under the state government’s jurisdiction.

Response to Voter List Allegations

He also refuted claims of voter list tampering by the Opposition, stating that such allegations are baseless and premature.

“First of all, claims are being made about tampering with the voter list. But how can there be tampering when the process itself isn’t over yet? Has the work on the voter list been completed? The Opposition is simply spreading misinformation,” he clarified.

Mr. Paswan stood by the Election Commission, praising its integrity and transparency in the ongoing processes.

“The Election Commission is working with complete transparency. If that weren’t the case we, too, would have raised questions. At the very least, my party and I certainly would have. You all know that I and my party never hesitate to speak out against injustice, no matter where it occurs, even if it’s within our own government,” he concluded.
