PM Modi: How India’s Air Defence Systems Foiled Pakistan’s Missile and Drone Attacks

PM Modi Hails India’s Air Defence Systems

During a session in the Lok Sabha, Prime Minister Modi revealed that India’s Air Defence Systems successfully neutralized 1,000 missiles and drones launched by Pakistan on May 9. These attacks were in response to the Pahalgam terror incident that occurred on April 22.

Decisive Response and Precision Strikes

PM Modi commended the Indian Armed Forces for their swift and precise actions against terrorist activities originating from Pakistan. Highlighting India’s retaliation, he mentioned that Indian forces executed strategic strikes on terror establishments within Pakistan in just 22 minutes after the Pahalgam attack. He emphasized that the strikes were intended to avenge the losses from the previous incident.

Global Support and Disappointments

Asserting India’s stand against terrorism, PM Modi stated that India received widespread backing from nations across the globe following the Pahalgam attack. However, he expressed dissatisfaction with the Congress party, the primary opposition in India, for not acknowledging the courage and sacrifices of the Indian soldiers. Modi criticized the party for politicizing the issue rather than standing united against terrorism.

He warned that such actions by the opposition could negatively impact the morale of the Indian armed forces, undermining their efforts in safeguarding the nation.
