A viral video on TikTok captured the moment when a five-year-old boy surprised his parents by going on a massive shopping spree on Amazon. The little boy, left unattended, managed to rack up purchases exceeding $3,000 while his parents were asleep.

The video that garnered over 4.14 million views displayed Kirsten Lochas McCall sharing the extraordinary incident. Her son transformed into an avid online shopper, casually adding items to the cart without any hindrance.
When the child’s father discovered the excessive spending, he was understandably shocked and confronted the little shopper. “You bought seven cars on Amazon. You spent over $3,000 on Amazon today. How did you do that? You are in so much trouble,” his father expressed.
The subsequent scenes in the video showcased screenshots of the copious shopping activities. The text in the video amusingly remarked, “Living life, happily scrolling and checking out while the rest of the house is sleeping,” portraying the boy’s uninterrupted shopping spree.
Aftermath of the Shopping Frenzy
McCall further disclosed that even when caught, the young shopaholic had accumulated an additional $700 worth of items in the cart, awaiting checkout. The parents were taken aback by the unexpected and pricey purchases.
In light of the incident, McCall humorously commented, “He took Christmas in July to a whole new level. I’m currently on the phone crying to Amazon—my husband is on the phone crying with our bank.”
The video amused many users on TikTok, with some expressing envy at the child’s ability to make such expensive purchases. “I’m just jealous you had enough in your account for all that. My card would’ve been declined so quickly,” one user joked.
Another user humorously remarked, “Can we get a haul? God forbid he have a little retail therapy,” illustrating the comedic side of the situation.
