India Sends Burn-Specialist Doctors To Dhaka To Treat Air Crash Victims

India is sending a team of burn-specialist doctors and nurses to Dhaka to treat those injured in a military jet crash. The tragic incident occurred when a military jet crashed into a school, resulting in the loss of at least 31 lives, including 25 children, at the Milestone School and College in Dhaka’s Uttara area.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed condolences for the lives lost in the air crash and assured support and assistance. The Ministry of External Affairs announced that a team of doctors and nurses, along with necessary medical support, will be visiting Dhaka to treat the victims. They will assess the patients’ conditions and recommend further treatment and specialized care in India as required.

The medical team, consisting of doctors from Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital and Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi, will be conducting the initial treatment. Additional medical teams may also follow based on the preliminary assessment and treatment provided.

The Bangladesh Air Force has initiated a high-level investigation committee to determine the cause of the accident.
