In a statement, Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh mentioned key figures under the Modi Model, waiting for their return. These include Vijay Mallya, Nirav Modi, and Lalit Modi.
Ramesh also highlighted the signing of the India-UK FTA in London, calling for an effective Fugitive Transfer Agreement.

India and the UK are set to sign a free trade agreement aimed at enhancing market access and bilateral trade.
The agreement will be signed in the presence of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
Under the deal, the UK expects a significant increase in two-way trade, while India will receive tariff elimination on most of its tariff lines.
British Foreign Secretary David Lammy expressed the UK’s excitement for the deal, citing it as a vital trade agreement post-Brexit.
Additionally, a new UK-India Vision-2035 roadmap will be unveiled, laying out future cooperation between the two nations.
