The iconic Indian TV show, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, is making a comeback on July 29. The return of Smriti Irani as Tulsi Virani has created a lot of excitement among fans. Before the reboot premieres, let’s take a quick look at the characters who will be absent in this new version.
Characters Missing in the Reboot
Sudha Shivpuri, who portrayed the lovable Baa, was a key figure in the show. Baa, the wise matriarch of the family, passed away in the original series. Similarly, Savita Virani, Tulsi’s mother-in-law, played a pivotal role before her character’s demise. Actor Apara Mehta gained fame through her portrayal of Savita.
Sumeet Sachdev’s character, Tulsi’s elder son, also won hearts with his journey on the show. Another notable character, Payal, known for her negative role, was portrayed by Jaya Bhattacharya. Unfortunately, Ansh, Tulsi’s son, played by Akashdeep Saigal, won’t be part of the new season.
