Ozzy Osbourne’s Final Tribute in Birmingham

Ozzy Osbourne’s family expressed their gratitude for the special family time they shared before his passing. They are planning a small, private funeral to celebrate his life, as he would have wanted it. The family is overwhelmed by the love and support pouring in from all corners of the globe.

Birmingham Procession Details

His fans will have a chance to pay their last respects during a cortege through his hometown, Birmingham. The legendary Black Sabbath singer’s body will be brought back on Wednesday, July 30, for a procession along Broad Street, starting at 1 PM BST.

The Lord Mayor of Birmingham, Zafar Iqbal, said, “We’re going to pay our last respects and homage to one of the greatest living legends of Birmingham.”

The hearse will travel along Broad Street, passing by significant landmarks like Black Sabbath Bridge and the Black Sabbath bench, where fans have left tributes following Ozzy’s passing.

Ozzy’s family has graciously funded this event and will cover all related expenses. His wife, Sharon, and children Kelly and Jack are expected to participate in the procession, before a private funeral later in the day.

Local brass band Bostin Brass will provide the soundtrack for the procession, with possible appearances from Black Sabbath members and musician Yungblud.

Fan Tributes and Live Stream

Drake and other fans have already paid their respects in Birmingham. An ongoing live stream of the Sabbath bench will allow people to watch the procession.

A “small, private funeral” is being organized for Ozzy Osbourne by his family members. The Prince of Darkness passed away after battling Parkinson’s disease and other health issues.
