Tragic Incident in Patna
A heartbreaking incident took place in Patna where a six-year-old boy named Sunny, son of Prabhakar Mahoto, was tragically beaten by his own father. The father is currently absconding.
Details of the Incident
According to reports, the police were alerted on Sunday morning about the incident. The young boy was reportedly beaten by his father inside a hotel room located near Patna railway station. Upon reaching the scene, the police immediately took the child to the nearest hospital. Unfortunately, despite medical efforts, the boy succumbed to his injuries.
The Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Sadar-1, Abhinav, informed the media about the incident. The mother of the deceased revealed that a heated argument between her and her husband turned violent on Saturday night. This led to the father brutally assaulting their six-year-old son and throwing him to the ground in the hotel room.
After the brutal assault, the husband fled the scene, leaving behind the injured child. A case has been registered with the police, and investigations are currently underway to uncover the full details of the tragic event.
It was mentioned that the family, consisting of the couple and their son, had come to visit Patna and were staying in a hotel room close to the railway station.
