A disturbing incident occurred near the Patna railway station as a man allegedly killed his own six-year-old son by throwing him on the hotel room floor. The boy, identified as Sunny (6), was the son of Prabhakar Mahoto, who is currently absconding.
Details of the Incident
According to the police, they received information on Sunday morning about the tragic incident. The child was reportedly beaten by his father inside a hotel room near the Patna railway station. Upon reaching the scene, the police immediately took the injured child to the nearest hospital, where, unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries.
Mother’s Testimony
The deceased boy’s mother informed the police that a heated argument between her and her husband turned violent on Saturday night. This led to her husband brutally beating their son and ultimately throwing him on the floor of the hotel room. The father then fled the scene. A case has been filed, and investigations are ongoing.
Visit to Patna
The family, consisting of the couple and their son, had travelled to Patna for a visit. They had checked into a hotel near the railway station where the tragic incident took place.
