The highly anticipated reality show Bigg Boss is all set to make a grand comeback with its 19th season. Salman Khan is set to host the show once again, as per reports.

Salman Khan’s Hefty Season 19 Hosting Fee

Salman Khan is rumored to be earning between Rs 120–150 crores for the 19th season, according to the Indian Express report.

For each weekend, Salman will receive a generous sum of Rs 8 to 10 crores, as he takes on the host duties for a total of 15 weeks. The show will mainly air on OTT platforms and have reruns on TV the same day.

Compared to past seasons, sources have revealed that the budget for this season is not as extravagant.

Salman Khan’s Previous Hosting Fees

In 2023, Salman reportedly charged Rs 96 crores for hosting Bigg Boss OTT 2. For the 18th and 17th seasons of Bigg Boss, his fees were Rs 250 crores and Rs 200 crores, respectively. Despite other hosts being part of Bigg Boss 19, Salman’s fee remains higher than his previous OTT season.

As per the Indian Express, Bigg Boss 19’s runtime is five months. Salman will helm the show for the initial three months before passing the hosting baton to guest hosts for the remaining two months.

Celebrities like Gautami Kapoor, Dheeraj Dhoopar, Alisha Panwar, and others are rumored to be in talks to join the show.

The 19th season is set to premiere on Jio Hotstar on August 30, 2025, with episodes dropping on OTT before airing on Colors TV later.
