Samsung Releases One UI 8 Beta 4 Update for Galaxy S25 Series

One UI 8, Samsung Galaxy S25, Beta 4 update

Samsung recently introduced its new Android 16-based operating system called One UI 8 alongside the latest Galaxy Z series foldables. The update is currently available for the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, with beta testing underway to bring it to other Samsung handsets soon.

Details of One UI 8 Beta 4 Update

A recent report reveals that the One UI 8 Beta 4 update for the Galaxy S25 series has been spotted on Samsung’s test server. The beta build, identified as ZYG5, comes in around 1319.27MB in size and is currently undergoing internal testing.

However, it’s worth noting that some features from the previous build are missing from this update. One standout feature, the Adaptive Lock Screen Clock, seems to be absent from the latest version. This dynamic clock widget adjusts to the subject in your wallpaper, providing both aesthetic appeal and functionality.

Potential Release for Public Build

While the Adaptive Lock Screen Clock might not be included in the beta 4 build, reports suggest that it could still make its way to the final release of One UI 8 for the Samsung Galaxy S25 series. This omission indicates that Samsung is refining the update further before making it available to the public.

Current flagship Galaxy smartphones, including the Galaxy S25 series, are powered by Android 15-based One UI 7. The arrival of One UI 8 is expected to extend to these devices and other Galaxy phones later this year, bringing new features and enhancements to the user experience.
