Tragic Loss in Solapur
A 16-year-old boy named Shivsharan Bhutali Talkoti was found dead by suicide at his maternal uncle’s home in Solapur, Maharashtra. The incident occurred as the boy was deeply distressed by his mother’s recent passing.
A Heart-Wrenching Incident
The boy’s mother had succumbed to jaundice three months ago, leaving Shivsharan devastated. In a tragic turn of events, officials discovered a suicide note written by the teenager.
In the note, Shivsharan expressed that he had dreamt of his mother, who appeared to call him to join her in the afterlife. He confessed his emotional turmoil, stating, “I am dying because I don’t want to live. I felt I should have departed when my mother did, but the love and care of my uncle and grandmother kept me going.”
Expressing gratitude towards his family members, Shivsharan pleaded with his uncle to ensure his sister’s happiness and requested that his grandmother not be sent to live with his father.
Signing off the note as ‘Yours, Pintya’, a nickname given by his family, Shivsharan revealed that he was solely responsible for his decision to end his life.
Dreams Shattered
Despite excelling academically with a remarkable 92% score in his Class 10 examinations, Shivsharan was preparing for the NEET entrance test with aspirations of becoming a doctor.
Following this tragic incident, a case has been registered at the Solapur city police station to investigate the circumstances surrounding the boy’s death.
