Timeline of Events
The victim’s father mentioned in his complaint that the teenager went out for a walk on June 29 but did not return home that night. Subsequently, a search was initiated, during which a friend revealed that the 16-year-old had visited the accused after leaving his house.
Upon reaching the accused’s residence, the family found the victim lying on the bed with the accused beside him. Despite attempts to wake him, the teenager remained unresponsive. A doctor later confirmed his demise.
Tragic Circumstances Unfold
Further investigation unveiled that the accused had given the teenager a soft drink upon his arrival, resulting in his sudden illness and subsequent death.
The victim’s father claimed in the complaint that the accused had taken the teenager to Nagpur four months earlier without informing the family. Upon his return, the parents advised the teenager to sever ties with the accused, which he reportedly did. This action allegedly provoked the accused to plan the tragic incident.
On the day of the crime, the accused invited the victim to his residence and offered him the fatal drink, according to police sources.
