Vodafone Idea (Vi) has announced the launch of 5G services in Mysuru, following its recent introduction in Bengaluru. Subscribers in Mysuru with 5G-enabled smartphones can now enjoy unlimited 5G data as part of a special offer. Collaborating with Samsung, Vi has expanded its 5G network to provide enhanced connectivity and coverage in the state.
Enhancing Network Coverage
After successfully rolling out 5G services in Bengaluru, Vi has extended its 5G network to Mysuru. This expansion now allows Vi to offer 5G services in six cities, including Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, and Patna. By acquiring 5G spectrum in these regions, Vi aims to deliver improved connectivity experiences to its subscribers.
Partnership with Samsung for Innovative Technology
Vi has collaborated with Samsung to deploy its 5G network in Mysuru. Leveraging Samsung’s AI-powered Self-Organizing Networks (SON) technology, Vi promises optimized network performance and energy-efficient infrastructure for users in the city.
Introduction of Unlimited 5G Data Plans
Users in Mysuru can access unlimited 5G data on Vi’s network by subscribing to plans starting at Rs. 299. It is important to note that this offering is currently part of an introductory promotion by the network provider.

Vi has expressed its intent to introduce 5G services in more cities, aiming to cover 17 circles in the initial phase. Additionally, Vi has upgraded its existing 4G network in Karnataka with additional spectrum between March 2024 and May 2025.
