Woman Miraculously Rescued
A 22-year-old woman was miraculously rescued after she was swept 20 miles downriver in the recent Texas floods. The flash floods scooped up the young woman from her campsite in Kerr County, Texas. She was later found clinging to a tree four hours later, as reported by KENS 5.
Rescue Amidst Devastation
A Center Point resident, Carl, heard someone screaming as he stepped into his yard at around 8 am on Friday, July 4. To his shock, he saw the woman clinging to a huge Cyprus tree near Lion’s Park Dam. Beneath her, the fast-flowing water thundered.
Brave Rescue Efforts
The woman had been carried by the waters for 20 miles before remaining stranded on the tree for several hours. Despite failed emergency calls, a local resident managed to get help by flagging down a passing police car. Eventually, two rescue boats arrived and saved the stranded camper. After the water receded, the woman was found stranded 12 feet above the water’s surface. She was safely rescued by dropping into one of the boats, bringing her to safety.
A True Miracle
“It was a true miracle,” Carl expressed. “There’s no other way to explain it.” Following the rescue, the woman was taken into Carl’s house, where she was offered clothes and refreshments. Carl and his family members had a heartfelt conversation with her.
Fateful Separation
According to Carl’s family members, the woman had been at the campsite with her parents, sister, aunt, and uncle. Sadly, she was washed away from her car along with her parents and became separated from the rest of her family. The condition of the woman’s family members remains uncertain.
Recovery and Story
Despite enduring minor injuries during the harrowing journey, the woman survived her ordeal. The community hailed her rescue as a miraculous event.
