KEC International Secures Rs 1,509 Crore Orders
KEC International, a global infrastructure EPC major, recently announced securing new orders worth Rs 1,509 crore. The company’s transportation business successfully bagged a joint venture order in the Train Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) segment under Kavach in India.
Project Scope
These new orders include projects in the Transmission & Distribution business such as 400 kV quad transmission lines in India, 500/400/220 kV overhead transmission lines in overseas markets, and the supply of towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas and the Middle East.
The Cables & Conductors business also secured orders to supply various types of cables and conductors both in India and overseas.
Company Outlook
Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO of KEC International, expressed pride in the Transportation business for strengthening its order book in the TCAS segment “Kavach.” He highlighted securing another order that aims to enhance the safety of Indian Railways through world-class technology. With these recent orders, the year-to-date order intake for KEC International now stands at over Rs 7,000 crore.
