Sharing the incident on his Instagram, Perez noted, “I had the misfortune of suffering a bite on my leg while trying to separate my dog from another dog during a minor incident.”
Despite not being in prime condition for the game, Perez expressed his regret at missing out on the action, stating, “I am very sorry that I can’t be on the field.”
He assured fans that he is recuperating at home and anticipates reuniting with the team in a few days.
