Mumbai Airport Alert: Lack of App-Based Transport
Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport has issued a warning to passengers on Wednesday regarding the potential unavailability of app-based transportation services. The airport suggested that passengers should make alternative arrangements due to the high probability of facing this issue.
According to a post on ‘X’, the airport highlighted the importance of planning transportation ahead of time before arriving at the airport. It urged travelers to explore other means of commuting to avoid inconvenience.
The advisory comes in the wake of a recent strike initiated by cab drivers. The drivers are protesting against the steep commission rates imposed by cab aggregators like Uber and Ola. They expressed discontent over the substantial deductions made by these ride-hailing platforms from their earnings.
