Mahindra & Mahindra is currently working on the development of several new products, and test mules of these upcoming vehicles have been seen on Indian roads. Automotive enthusiasts have already caught glimpses of the facelift versions of popular models like the Thar, XUV700, BE Rall-e, and more. Recently, the Scorpio N-based pickup truck was spotted undergoing tests in Maharashtra, even though it was camouflaged.

Details of the Scorpio N Pickup

The spy shots captured a double-cab version of the pickup truck, confirming that there will be both single cab and double cab options available. This variety aims to cater to different consumer needs. The double-cab variant showcased a new grille design and a shark fin antenna.

The Scorpio N pickup models were seen equipped with basic steel wheels and a roll bar that extends above the cabin roof for added safety. The taillights on the test units were halogen instead of the previously showcased LED lights.

Technological Features

The concept version of the Scorpio N promised advanced features like Level 2 ADAS, 5G connectivity, trailer sway control, multiple airbags, and a 4Xplore four-wheel-drive system. It is yet to be confirmed which of these features will make it to the final production model.

Mechanical Specifications

It is expected that the Scorpio N pickup will share its powertrain with current Mahindra SUVs, likely offering a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine and a 2.2-liter diesel engine. Transmission options may include a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
